Get Out this Weekend, Eagan

It's been a long week and Patch has highlighted some events for you to look forward to.

 

1. DIFFLEY SQUARE SPRING FLING

When/Where: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; Diffley Square, Eagan

Why Go: Free event for the whole family with live music, vendor exhibits, antique car display. and wine tasting.  Give some blood while you are there too!

Pricing: Free

2. INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL OF SHOWS

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday; Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, St. Pau

Why Go: Dance ensembles, music, award winning face and balloon artists, stiltwalking, circus acts and magic all for $5 a person.

Pricing: $5 

3. INTRODUCTION TO BIRDWATCHING

When/Where: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday; Lebanon Regional Park, Eagan

Why Go: Learn the basics of bird identification on a morning birdwatching hike.

Pricing: $9

4. NATURE’S GYM

When/Where: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday; Lebanon Regional Park, Eagan

Why Go: Join a certified strength and conditioning coach as he shares beginner tips and techniques for using nature as a gym.

Pricing: $15

5. STUDIO 4: BELIEVE 2011

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, Performing Arts Center, Burnsville

Why Go: Burnsville’s own Studio 4 Dancers take to the stage for a series of recitals.

Pricing: $13.50 for adults and $11.50 for students under 12
