Jazz, Flamenco and Don Quixote: Caponi Plans Summer Artist Series

Caponi art park will hold a summer artist series targeted at children and their families every Tuesday morning between June and August.

Caponi Art Park will be holding an outdoor summer artist series every Tuesday morning in June, July and August.

The "Family Fun Tuesdays" programming is designed for children age 3 to 12 and their parents. The series seeks to show the connection between different cultures' artistic styles as they change over time, and it will include music, dance and stories from Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States.

Families are encouraged to stay after the performances to explore the art park or enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn.

A $4 per person donation is suggested and helps make the Family Fun Tuesday Series possible. Performances will take place under a canopy in the event of rain and will be canceled in severe weather.
