To celebrate the Eagan Community Center turning 10 years old this year, a Birthday Bag Blitz is being planned to take place on a Sunday afternoon in April where volunteers will have an opportunity to assemble toy-filled birthday gift bags for Eagan-based nonprofit, Cheerful Givers which will then be donated to local food shelves so that less fortunate parents can recognize their child’s birthday with a gift.

Financial donations as well as new toys  (any small new items for kids ages 3-12) are now being collected at the main desk of the Community Center.  Might be a great way for your company, group or family to participate in giving back to your community. Contact karen@cheerfulgivers.org for more info.
