Cupcake Seeks Approval of Liquor Licenses

The request is part of Eagan city council's consent agenda on Dec. 17.

Cupcake and the Mason Jar has requested from Eagan an on-sale liquor license and Sunday liquor license.

Approval of the license is on the Eagan City Council consent agenda for its Dec. 17 meeting.

The liquor license would allow the Cupcake and The Mason Jar to sell alcohol during its full table service hours, which are from 3 p.m. to closing Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to closing Saturday and Sunday. Restaurants must provide full table service to be eligible for an on-sale liquor license.

City staff and the Eagan Police Department reviewed Cupcake's request and found no reason to deny the it, according to the city.

Cupcake and The Mason Jar are located at 1565 Cliff Road. The business opened on Dec. 6.
