I-494 Westbound Closes This Weekend
Also on Friday, the Eagan High School football team will play Lakeville North.
A portion of westbound Interstate 494 will close this weekend, says the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
Starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 westbound Interstate 494 between 24th Avenue and Interstate 35W will close. It will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14.
The detour will use Highway 77 and Highway 62. The detour for northbound Interstate 35W traffic to westbound I-494 will use westbound Highway 62 and southbound Highway 100, MnDOT noted.
The closure is part of the Interstate 494 Improvement Project.

Eagan High School is hosting the girls and boys varsity cross country South Suburban Conference meet. It starts at 3:30 p.m.
The Eagan High School varsity football game will be against Lakeville North at home. The game starts at 7 p.m.
