Women's Running Clubs, "Fear the Paw" Homecoming Event Day 3

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is also hosting an open house on Wednesday about congestion on Highway 77.

Here’s a look at some of events happening in Eagan on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Eagan High School Homecoming

It's Wild Wednesday on day three of Eagan High School Homecoming events. An activity fair will go from 11:06 a.m. to 12:31 p.m., and in the evening the LINK Dodge Ball Tournament will occur in the gym at 6 p.m.

Storytime at Wescott Library

The library is hosting two story and activity events on Wednesday. One event will start at 10:30 a.m. and the other event will start at 4 p.m. Both events are for infants through 6-year-old children. Wescott Library is located at 1340 Wescott Road.

Highway 77 Open House

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting an open house at Eagan City Hall from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to discuss options for managing the congestion on Highway 77. City Hall is located at 3830 Pilot Knob Road.

Women's Beginning Running

This class is geared toward participants who can walk at least an hour without stopping. The goal of the class is to help participants reach the goal of running a 5K race. Cost to attend is $20 and pre-registration is required. The class meets at 3990 Elrene Road and runs from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Women's Running Boost and Running Club

This class is for more experienced runners. The class meets at 3990 Elrene Road and runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Cost: $20.
