5 Things to Talk About at Workplace Water Coolers

1.) Eagan is getting more sun and warmth today. Until noon, the sun will come out and temperatures will hover in the mid to upper 70s. But then this afternoon, temps will rise to a high of 84, and the sun's supposed to stay out.

2.) Women have a chance to from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. toay. For $45, you learn the basics of sea kayaking, which includes strokes, wet exit and self rescues. It's at Lebanon Hills Regional Park, 860 Cliff Road in Eagan.

4.) Today in 1837, Elizabeth S. Hamilton became one of the first female tourists in the Twin Cities area. She was the widow of Alexander Hamilton, and on this day in the early 1800s, she visited Fort Snelling and viewed Lake Calhoun, Minnehaha Falls and the Falls of St. Anthony.
