5 Things To Talk About At Workplace Water Coolers

1. Weather reports are calling for a high of 80 degrees and a low of 61. Should be partly cloudy all day with only a 20 percent chance of rain. Look for 73 degrees by noon and 79 by 6 p.m. Sounds like a wonderful day for golf and an equally beautiful evening for a stroll.

2. Head over to Eagan's 1914 Town Hall tonight between 4-6 p.m. for a look at 150 years of Eagan's pictures, maps, farm tools and household items. Brought to you from the Eagan Historical Society.

3. On this date in 1999, Kathleen Soliah, a fugitive since 1974, was arrested in St. Paul. Having lived under the name Sarah Jane Olson, Soliah was a presumed member of the Symbionese Liberation Army, the group that kidnapped newspaper heiress Patty Hearst, and was wanted for the attempted bombing of two police cars.

4. The is playing host to what it's calling an Eagan Community Forum from 7-9 p.m. tonight. The main topics of conversation will include focusing the efforts of individuals and organizations on common goals for the city and leveraging collective efforts to bring meaningful change and engagement in Eagan. 

5. Ladies head over to Schulze Lake Beach at to learn the basics of sea kayaking. Learn various strokes, wet exits and self rescues. The two-part class is $45 and will be held on June 16 and 29.
