The Eagan Foundation announced Wednesday that it has awarded $7,000 in funding to 10 local non-profits. The funding will support a wide variety of initiatives that help make Eagan a better place to live, learn and play.

Part of the Eagan Foundation’s vision is to support efforts that strengthen the Eagan community through grant programs—creating a legacy one gift at a time. Raising funds to support an annual grant program is an ongoing goal for the Eagan Foundation.

“Thanks to the generosity of Eagan residents, we once again were able to offer grants to deserving Eagan organizations. We were excited to receive more than two dozen requests from a broad group of applicants,” says Eagan Foundation’s Community Grants Chair Juli Seydell-Johnson.

“The grant recipients represent groups who provide service to diverse groups of Eagan residents and incorporate volunteers or activities that increase community engagement,” added Seydell-Johnson.  “Eagan Foundation is committed to bringing neighbors together to further strengthen our great city.”
