Eagan Foundation Wine Tasting Scheduled for Thursday Evening

The fundraising event will include a silent auction, buffet line, wine and beer samples and live music.

Sip micro-brewed beers or a variety of wine samples, indulge in a buffet and listen to jazz musician Kevin Gamble at the Eagan Foundation's 11th Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on Thursday evening.

The event is open to the public and will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the . Proceeds from the event fund scholarships for local students and support nonprofit organizations.

The event will feature samplings of a variety of wines from the Kowalski Wine Shop. For beer lovers, will offer tastings of their microbrewery beers. Kowalski’s also caters the grand cuisine buffet. While sampling beverages, guests can listen to jazz musician Kevin Gamble on the keyboards and shop the dozens of silent auction items from area businesses.

“The Wine Tasting Event is our main fund raising activity for the year,” Eagan Foundation Chair Bob Braun wrote in a press release. “The dollars raised from this event help fund our own scholarships and facilitate the scholarships of the many companies and families that work through the Eagan Foundation.”

Tickets are available for $50 at the Eagan Foundation website www.eaganfoundation.org. The Eagan Foundation has a fundraising goal of $28,000 for the event.
