Eagan Named in Top 20 Best Places to Live in Minnesota
Movoto based the rankings off of seven criteria, including unemployment rate, graduation rate and cost of living.
Movoto ranked Eagan among the top 20 places to live in Minnesota.
Movoto is a real estate company with home listings and partner real estate agents. To develop rankings, Movoto started with 100 of the most populated cities in Minnesota and gave each city a score based on the following factors:
- Unemployment rate
- Cost of living
- Crime rate
- High school graduation rate
- Median household income
- Median home price
- Median rent price
Each city received a score of 1 to 100.
Eagan is ranked number 15 overall with an average score of 30. Edina is number 14 on the list and Lino Lakes is number 16.
Number one on the list was Chanhassen, followed by Lakeville and a third place tie between Plymouth and Maple Grove.
