Eagan Resident Writes Leadership Book

Tom Endersbe of Eagan will sign copies of "The Three Commitments of Leadership" at Barnes & Noble Tuesday evening.

Eagan resident and business owner Tom Endersbe has written a book on leadership with two of his colleagues, and Endersbe will be signing copies of his book from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the .

The book, "The Three Commitments of Leadership," hit stores last week, Endersbe said. He wrote it with Jay Therrien and Jon Wortmann.

In an interview, Endersbe, a 27-year resident of Eagan, said he felt proud and honored. The book explains what leaders can commit to in order to be successful. That is clarity, or a clear understanding of what success looks like; stability, or an environment where trust is built in the culture and people have resources; and rhythm, or a sense of flow at work and a natural environment.

Endersbe, a former chairman of the Eagan Foundation and CEO of Endersbe, Herron and Associates, said in such an environment, talent and potential are released. He hopes the book helps business leaders get there.

"This is a journey to change the mind," he said.
