Eagan Welcomes New Editor
New Patch Local Editor brings several years of community journalism experience
Hi everyone! My name is Britt Johnsen, I'm the new Local Editor for Eagan Patch. I'm so thrilled about living here and writing about this community. I hope to meet you as I get to know the city.
I'm originally from St. Cloud, which is about an hour and a half northwest of here. I got my undergraduate degree in English and journalism from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, and then after working for a year in southeast Minnesota as an education reporter for the Winona Daily News, I became the Business Editor at the St. Cloud Times, where I spent three years covering the Great Recession.
