Get Out This Weekend, Eagan

The workweek is coming to an end and weekend fun and leisure will be here soon. Patch has some ideas on how to spend your free time.

This weekend go on a treasure hunt with the kids; check out the County Fair; save a four-legged friend; and enjoy a recently-opened play.

 

1.

When/Where: 10 a.m.-noon Saturday; Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Eagan.

Why Go: Bring your family to find treasures in the park. Equipment is provided.

2. 

When/Where: 8:30 p.m. Friday; State Fair Farmington.

Why Go: Join the party with music by Lost Highway and everything else a fair has to offer.

Pricing: Free.

When/Where: 10:30 a.m. Friday; Wescott Library.

Why Go: Enjoy live, outdoor music inspired by the poetry and art of Calef Brown. Bring a blanket to sit on!

Pricing: Free.

 

4. 

When/Where: 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Sunday; Pellici ACE Hardware.

Why Go: Enjoy freshly grilled hot dogs, veggie dogs, chips, soda and water, along with Pet Project Rescue merchandise. All proceeds go directly to Pet Project Rescue, a no-kill, non-profit rescue that places homeless animals in foster homes until they are adopted.

Pricing: Benefit.

 

5.

When/Where: 7 p.m. Saturday; Burnsville Performing Arts Center.

Why Go: A Broadway classic with a modern twist. All cast members for this production will be between the ages of 7 and 17.

Pricing: Adults $13 Students and Seniors $11.
