Why Go: Join Lebanon Hills Regional Park staff for family-friendly karaoke in the park's visitor center. All ages welcome. Registration is required.

When/Where: 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, and Saturday, April 7 at the Joke Joint Comedy Club in Lilydale.
Why Go: Listen to the midwestern charm, storytelling and impeccable wit of Dave Mordal—a former marine, heavy equipment operator and now—stand-up comedian. Dave has appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" numerous times, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and hosted Wreckreation Nation on the Discovery Channel.
Cost: $15.

Why Go: Join the Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation Departmetn for its annual egg hunt. The egg hunt for 3-4 year olds is 1 p.m., or 1:20 p.m. for 5-7 year olds. 8-10 year olds will run at 1:40 p.m.

- Burnsville Visual Art Society's "Art Fete"
When/Where: Throughout the weekend
Why Go: The Burnsville Visual Art Society presents the 30th annual Art Fete, a members’ show consisting of artwork of all mediums from local emerging and professional artists. The mission of Art Fete is to make the visual arts more accessible to our community and to support local artists by providing them with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork.
Cost: Free and open to the public
When/Where: 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Roasted Pear in Burnsville.
Why Go: After getting his start in Milford, Conn., John Joseph focused on acoustic jazz in nightclubs and venues in Maryland and the East Coast. His influences include Chuck Loeb, Bob James, The Beatles, Russ Freeman and more.
Cost: Admission is free.
