    When/Where:
    7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 24, at Garlough Environmental Magnet School.
    Why Go: The Dodge Nature Center's all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast will gather this year at Garlough Environmental Magnet School, which is across the street from the Dodge Nature Preschool.  The GEMS cafeteria will allow us to comfortably accommodate more. Reserved seating: 7:30, 8:15, 9:00, and 10:00 Call 651-455-4531 to reserve your guaranteed seating time. Maple sap collection and syrup production processes will be shared by naturalists and volunteers along with short hikes across Charlton Street to Dodge’s main property.
    Cost: Members, volunteers, and children 2-years-old and younger are free. This event is open to the community to non-members for $5 per adult and $2.50 per child, ages 3-12. Contact John Chandler at 651.789.5218 for more information and/or to be recognized at the event as a sponsor.

  • When/Where:
    10 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 at 1562 Wexford Ct. in Eagan.
    Why Go:
    Spend the day working on your scrapbook or learning what this scrapbooking craze is all about! The workshop is taught by a Creative Memories consultant, and scrapbook tools will be available for participants. There's no cost for this workshop. Bring a lunch or money to order food.   • Stand-Up Comedian Jarrod Harris Performs
    When/Where:
    8 and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at the Joke Joint Comedy Club in Lilydale.
    Why Go:
    Described as an oddly comfortable mix of trailer-park filth, comic angst and hipster irony, Jarrod Harris was named as one of the Hot Comics of 2009 and Top Comics to Watch in 2010. In 2009 Harris was in the final four at the  San Francisco Comedy Competition and in 2010 was invited back for Detroit Comedy Festival’s “Best of Fest” as well as host of 2010/2011 Laughing Skull Festival. Almost 20 million people have seen Jarrod’s popular Action Figure Therapy characters.  His characters were also recently named LA Weekly’s “Top Comic To Watch in 2012″.
    Cost: $15 online or at the door.

    Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at in Eagan.
    Why Go:
    Meet face-to-face with Eagan Sen. Ted Daley (R) to talk politics, ask questions and hear the legislator's stance on local issues. Appointments are strongly recommended and can be made by calling the Senator’s Capitol office at 651-297-8073.
