Grab & Go with the Kids this Weekend

Time to coordinate the weekend schedule for the kids and Patch has some great ideas.

1.  Open Public Skating

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Civic Arena, Eagan

Pricing: $2 per student and $3 per adult

2.  Family Zoo Adventures: Lemurs

When/Where:  1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, MN Zoo, Apple Valley

Why Go: See the stink fight with the ring-tailed and red-ruffled primates from Madagascar.

Pricing: Zoo Members: $17.50 per participant 
(minimum of  one adult, one child = $35)
 Non-Members: $24 per participant
 (minimum of one adult, one child = $48)

3. 

When/Where: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dodge Nature Center, Mendota Heights

Why Go: Snow shoes, sleds, blankets and a picnic.

Pricing: Public: Adults $7 / Children $7 / Families $20. Members: Adults $5 / Children $5/ Families $15. It's free for children ages two and under.

4. Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

When/Where: Friday to Sunday, Carmike Theater, Apple Valley

Why Go: A good laugh.

Pricing: $6  - $10

5.  Teen Paint In

When/Where: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Eagan Art House, Eagan

Why Go: Self-express yourself in art.
