Kids 'N Kinship: Meet Calvin
Each week, Patch profiles an area youth looking for adult mentors through the Kids 'n Kinship program. This week we introduce you to Calvin.

Age: 14
Interests: Calvin has lots of interests including basketball, the NFL, music, and sports center TV.
Personality/Characteristics: Calvin is smart and witty and interested and respectful.
Goals/Dreams: Calvin would like a mentor who is interested in sports and who can be a positive person in his life.
Looking For: If you are interested in getting to know a wonderful teen who has many interests, really wants a mentor and is very respectful and eager to learn, Calvin is the match for you!
For More Information: Calvin is one of almost 50 children waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private nonprofit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 40 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. March 27 at the in Eagan. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
