Labor Day: What's Open and Closed in Eagan?

Labor Day, summer's last hurrah, is upon us, which means it's time for one last trip to the cabin or a visit to the Minnesota State Fair.

Because it is a federal holiday recognized by the state of Minnesota, city government will take the day off—which means that Eagan's , and all other branches of the Dakota County Library system are closed.

Holiday hours go into effect for the , which will remain open from 5:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day.

The United States Post Office is also closed on Monday, though many local  retailers and supermarkets will be open on Labor Day including , and .
