Lewis House Receives Playhouse from PCL Construction

Donors who give $360 can receive their name or the name of a loved one on a placard attached to the playhouse.

Children at the Lewis House will soon have a new playhouse to play in.

The Lewis House is a domestic violence shelter in Eagan that is operated by 360 Communities, a nonprofit organization that primarily serves communities in Dakota County. Lewis House can accept residents of other counties as well, explained Tony Compton, marketing and communications manager at 360 Communities.

PCL Construction has donated and built an 8 foot by 11 foot playhouse for Lewis House. The playhouse “will be located in the Lewis House backyard as a place where children fleeing violence can create joyful memories as they escape the harsh reality of their past,” according to the description of the project on the 360 Communities website. The site page also includes a YouTube video presentation.
