It was all hands on deck for the Eagan Police and Fire Departments on Tuesday night for Eagan's National Night Out.
Police and fire officials visited many of the more than 160 block parties scheduled in neighborhoods across Eagan as part of the awareness event. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
