Pinewood Elementary Hosts Phantom 5K and Fun Run

The event includes a police dog demo, two kids runs and a 5K race at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27

Pinewood Community School in Eagan with host its second annual Phantom 5K and Fun Run benefit on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the school.

Registration for the race runs from at 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Oct. 27, and is followed by kids' quarter-mile and half-mile running events, which start at 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., respectively. The 5K race begins at 9:30 a.m. The event also includes an 8:15 a.m. police dog demonstration by Badger and Eagan Police Officer Andy Helgerson.

Same-day registration for the is a minimum donation of $20 for children and $30 for adults. All of the proceeds from the race will go to the Pinewood PTO to help fund the purchase of classroom and playground supplies, teacher resources and other items.
