Tornado watch issued for Eagan

Eagan could get up to half an inch of new rain

The National Weather Service this afternoon issued a tornado watch for Eagan and Dakota County, which is in effect until 9 p.m. tonight.

A tornado watch means that severe thunderstorms and multiple tornadoes could develop, and that people in the area should watch out and prepare for such weather, acccording to weather.com.
