Caponi Book Signing Set for Saturday in Eagan

Caponi Art Park founder will be on hand at Barnes & Noble on Saturday to sign copies of his new book.

Anthony Caponi, founder and creative engine behind Eagan’s Caponi Art Park, will sign copies of his new book, “Meaning Beyond Reason”, in the Eagan Barnes & Noble store this Saturday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The book is a collection of selected essays from Caponi that explore art, philosophy and the everyday human experience.

Caponi is a long-time Eagan resident and has chaired the art department at Macalester College in St. Paul for more than 40 years. He is currently a professor emeritus at that institution.

Caponi celebrated his 90th birthday earlier this year and still leads the artistic vision of the 60-acre outdoor sculpture garden and cultural center on Diffley Road in Eagan.

Barnes & Noble is located at 1291 Promenade Place in Eagan.
