Elvis Coming to Eagan Farmers Market Next Week

Grab your hair grease and your fried peanut butter-and-banana sandwiches! Elvis is coming to the Eagan Market Fest and farmers market.
The Elvis Experience's Tommy Marcio and dad Steve Marcio are bringing their show to the city's weekly summer shindig Wednesday, July 24, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. It's not too hard to imagine the Marcios adapting some of The King's songs to an event that features 60-plus local farmers, crafters, and artists:

The warden threw a party with a pound of kale.
The farmer's band was there and they began to wail.
The farm stand was jumping, folks began to swing.
You should've heard those knocked-out locavores sing!

On second thought, perhaps not. Maybe writing song lyrics isn't Patch's strong suit, after all.
