Amie Kieffer, a local artist who specializes in painting and drawing, is hosting an outdoor show from 4-8 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 18 in Rosemount, Minn.
Kieffer double majored in Studio Arts and Art History with a minor in Philosophy. She is currently instructing art during the academic year to 1st through 8th graders, as well as offering small group lessons to students of all ages. St. Catherine’s University purchased Kieffer’s artwork for its private collection; her art has been featured in various publications and newspapers; and she has even created art for private family museums. Certainly many pieces of AK art now hang in the homes and buildings of happy customers. Not only does she draw and paint, Kieffer designs logos, makes cartoons, creates artwork for events, invitations and does illustration work.
