"Of Mice and Men" Comes to Eagan High School

Eagan High School students will perform in the one-act play next Thursday in the high school auditorium.

The staged adaptation of classic American novel "Of Mice and Men" will hit the Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9.

The free one-act production, directed by Nancy Owzarek, will be performed by Eagan High School students who are participating in the state One-Act Festival in St. Paul. The play follows the story of two drifters, George Milton and Lennie Small, in southern California during the 1930’s depression, according to Owzarek. Lennie is a huge man, unaware of her own strength due to a mental disablilty. George is his caretaker and companion.

Eagan student Brennan Spicer plays George Milton, while Dan Britt takes on the role of Lennie Small.
