Looking for a little late-summer entertainment for the kids? Caponi Art Park has just the thing: The Roe Family Singers are described as a "good-time, old-time hillbilly band from the Mississippi-headwaters community of Kirkwood Hollow, MN." Husband-wife duo Quillan and Kim Roe lead the band, which is said to blend "characteristic old-time sound with rock & roll passion."
The concert is free, though a $4 per person donation is suggested. The performance begins at 10 a.m. this Tuesday, Aug. 20. There is a downloadable learning guide for this week's Family Fun Tuesday event.
