VIDEO: Expansion Brings "Elbow Room" to Eagan Art House

A $10,000 grant allowed the Eagan Art House to build a 15-by-20-foot expansion last November.

Visitors to the pottery studio have some much-needed breathing room for their creativity, thanks to a $10,000 grant from Very Special Arts Minnesota.

The money funded a 15-by-20-foot expansion to the studio, which was completed late last year, and allowed the art house to make the studio more accessible for people with disabilities or special needs, Eagan Art House Director Julie Andersen said.

The art house uses the expansion as storage space and as a home to its two kilns, which were previously located in the studio's main room.
