Video: Students Rehearse for 'Eagan Has Talent' Show

The community talent show will be at Eagan High School on Saturday evening.

The second annual "Eagan Has Talent" show will open in the Eagan High School auditorium on Saturday. Participants in the talent show include singers, dancers, musicians and others. They were at the school on Friday night for a dress rehearsal.

Although this year's participants are mainly high school students, and some middle school students, the talent show is really a community event meant to showcase talents within the Eagan community, explained Greg Wilken, chair on the board of the Eagan Foundation.

The Eagan Foundation is an organization that provides scholarships to students who go to school or live in Eagan. The Eagan Foundation also has a Community Initiatives and Grants Program.

Saturday's talent show is not a contest, but a fundraiser for the Eagan Foundation and Eagan High School's Muse Literary Arts program.

The Eagan Foundation also has a food and wine tasting fundraiser in the spring at the Eagan Community Center.

Tickets for "Eagan Has Talent" are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door (cash or check). The show starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Shown in the video are: B Natural singing "Trickle, Trickle" by Clarence Bassett; Ben Young and Cait Young performing to "The Mazks Mixtape"; Hannah Albers and Amy Greenburg performing "Fix You" by Cold Play; and Cache, singing "Bring Me Little Water Sylvie" by Huddie Ledbetter.
