Wescott Library Performance Brings History to Life

The Minnesota History Center is hosting a presentation on Harriet Bishop, St. Paul's first public school teacher, next week.

Learn about Harriet Bishop, St. Paul's first public school teacher, during a live performance hosted by the Minnesota History Center at Wescott Library in Eagan at 7 p.m. on March 19.

During the presentation, attendees will learn about the role of women in American frontier education, Minnesota's territorial years and differences between school in the 19th and 21st centuries. The event is open to children ages 6-12.
