Editor's Note: The following is a press release from the Dakota County Library system.

Between Oct. 15 and Nov. 2, the Dakota County Library is encouraging kids in grades 5–12 to write a letter to their favorite World Wrestling Entertainment superstar, convincing the superstar to read the letter writer’s favorite book.

Letters are submitted to any Dakota County Library location for judging. Three letters—one for each grade category (grades 5–6, 7–8 9–12)—will be chosen from all the entries to move on to the national judging.  Eighteen finalists from all of the national entries will be chosen in January 2013 and will win a trip to attend WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, N.J., on April 7, 2013 (a $5,000 value).

“Reading prepares you for being a successful adult in the real world. I wouldn’t be where I am today had it not been for reading.” said Extreme Championship Wrestling Champion Matt Hardy when asked why World Wrestling Entertainment is co-sponsoring the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.
