Cupcake in Eagan Opens by Week's End
The Mason Jar will open alongside the bakery, which is a Cupcake first.
Cupcake's new restaurant in Eagan will open on Friday, Dec. 6, says Cupcake Development Manager Courtney Chapman.
During the day, the bakery will serve "fast, casual fare," said Chapman, including sandwiches, soups and pizzas from their new "stone-fire oven."
In the evening, The Mason Jar will open as a full-service restaurant serving such dishes as flat breads, pizzas, hot dishes and "homey" foods. The Mason Jar is the first of its kind for Cupcake, which has three other locations.
Spectrum Sign Systems, Inc. finished installing the signage for the Eagan restaurant on Tuesday in preparation for opening day.
Cupcake and The Mason Jar are located at 1565 Cliff Road in Eagan.
Operation hours are not fully settled, but Chapman expects Cupcake to be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and The Mason Jar to be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
She expects the grand opening to occur sometime in January 2014.
