Cupcake's The Mason Jar Celebrates Its Grand Opening in Eagan
Pancakes, cocktails and raffle prizes are all part of the grand opening event on Sunday.
Cupcake's Eagan location boasts its first full-service restaurant, called The Mason Jar. The Mason Jar will hold a grand opening event, complete with pancakes and raffle prizes, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.
The "Pancake Breakfast Extravaganza" will include pancakes and a toppings bar with fruit, whipped cream, house-made fruit syrups and other toppings, according to a Cupcake news release. Available beverages include breakfast cocktails, such as mimosas, fresh juice, all natural sodas and soft drinks.
The Mason Jar will give away raffle prizes each hour. Reservations for the grand opening are not necessary.
Cupcake opened in Eagan early in December. The Mason Jar operations within Cupcake, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. At The Mason Jar pizzas, flatbreads, hot dishes and other comfort foods are made from scratch using a stone-fire oven. The restaurant also serves beer and wines, which are on tap behind the bar, and full bar service, according to the Cupcake news release.
The owner of Cupcake is Chef Kevin Van Deraa, who won Food Network's The Cupcake Wars Champion Series in 2012.
