Eagan Company Acquires Tunisian-based Tech Support Firm

Eagan's Stream Global Services, a call center company, announced on Monday that it had acquired N2SP Tunisie.

An Eagan customer service company recently closed on an acquisition deal that will give the firm a foothold in north Africa and better access to European markets.

Stream Global Services, a call center company based out of Eagan, announced Monday that it had acquired N2SP Tunisie, a company in Tunisia that offers tech support to customers in European markets. Stream did not release any information about the terms of the deal.

“This acquisition provides Stream with an enhanced presence in the European market and additional expertise in chat and e-mail service offerings,” Stream Chairman and CEO Kathy Marinello said in a prepared statement.

Stream offers technical support, customer care and sales for Fortune 1000 companies. At present, the company has 55 call service centers in 22 countries and over 39,000 employees.

This is Stream's second major acquisition in 2013. In February, the company purchased the U.K.-based firm, LMB Holdings Limited, for $44 million. In late spring and early summer, the company went on a hiring blitz in Eagan as well, with plans to hire up to 300 new employees.
