Jack of All Trades Opens its Newest Franchise In Eagan

Jack of All Trades Franchise Owner Lindsay Minderler, a woman right out of college, decided to purchase her first franchise in what seems to be a male-dominated business.

When Lindsay Minderler purchased a bank-owned home that needed a lot of basic repair work to make it livable, she had a difficult time finding a handyman who would complete jobs on time, correctly, or even at all.

So, when Minderler learned of an opportunity to purchase a franchise in Eagan, she figured, "Why not?"

Minderler said she is excited to be getting in on the ground floor of a new company and have a chance to contribute to it and be a part of its growth.

For her own part, she also is looking forward to helping homeowners avoid the problems she had finding someone who would do a decent repair job. As a matter of fact, when she interviewed the handyman who bacame her first technician, she had him repair a door in her home that others had failed to fix.

Minderler said he fixed it right up and was offered the job.

According to Minderler, she sometimes get asked why she chose to go into what is seen as a male-dominated business and, again, she said, "Why not?" Minderler said The Jack of All Trades corporate office gives her all the support she needs and she is having fun learning the business.

Minderler hopes to purchase additional territories in the future.

For the time being, although her franchise covers Eagan and Inver Grove Heights, there are no other franchise holders in the area so she is open to taking on clients within a 50-mile radius.

Jack of All Trades can handle most honey-do lists and offer free estimates, but they are not licensed to do plumbing or electrical work, and do not perform roof work.
