Minneapolis' Cupcake Plans Eagan Restaurant

The new full-service restaurant is set to open in October, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Minneapolis-based confectioneryCupcake recently announced plans to expand with two more locations, including one in Eagan.

According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, Cupcake plans to open a full-service restaurant off Cliff Road east of I-35E. The restaurant is in a completely different direction than its Minneapolis, Mall of America, and soon to be St. Paul locations.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant will feature a wood-burning oven that will be used to fire up a new line of pizzas and Minnesota hot dishes, and wine and beer will be served, according to the article.

The Eagan location is set to open in October, and will take the space formerly belonging to eatery Pardon My French, according to the article.
