Parkview Golf Course Gets New Developer

Promises made by the original developer are now in doubt.

The controversial Parkview golf course development has a new homebuilder, according to the Star Tribune.

The developer who had originally received the go-ahead from the city council to build 170 houses in April sold the entire course to national homebuilder D.R. Horton.

The change casts doubt on whether promises made by the course's original developer to preserve trees and stick to a certain play will hold. D.R. Horton refused to be interviewed for the Star Tribune's story.
