Thomson Reuters Announces Another Round of Job Cuts

The company, which has an Eagan location, is cutting 3,000 jobs.

Thomson Reuters will cut 3,000 jobs, local and national media is reporting.

The purpose of the 5 percent workforce cut is "to simplify product lines and curb expenses," according to USA Today.

There are around 6,000 people employed at Thomson Reuters in Eagan, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. A spokesperson for the company told the Pioneer Press that they have not yet announced which company locations will be impacted by the cuts.
