My first coronation and parade as an Eagan Funfest Ambassador

Hi! This is Eagan Funfest Ambassador, Mia Eisenberg. I was just crowned on Monday, July 7. I was excited and nervous on the night of the coronation. It was great meeting all of the visiting royalty and taking all of the pictures with them at the Reception. 

I recently attended a Coronation and Ball at the Hopkins Raspberry Festival. It was a very fun experience with the Aquatennial and the St. Paul Winter Carnival there. They were all very entertaining, especially the Winter Carnival representatives. Being entertained by Klondike Kate again was great, just like at our coronation. How the girls were crowned was different from our coronation. One at a time, the Princesses and Queen took a crown and pretended to put it on each of the candidates heads while music was playing. Eventually, they placed it on one of the new Queen or Princesses' heads.  Congratulations to the new Queen and Princesses! The ball afterwards was really fun too. There was a game of Miss Congeniality Musical Chairs and we had Reece Peters (a fellow Ambassador) play, because he won the Team Player award at our coronation. It was so fun to watch!

Our second event was the Rosemount Leprechaun Days Parade. I had so much fun talking to the other communities and waving at the little kids from the float. I really enjoyed my first coronation and my first parade as an Eagan Ambassador and I can’t wait for the next event.
