Blotter: Seeking Revenge, Suspect Attempts to Ambush Children After School

Police also responded to a criminal sexual conduct call, and rescued an intoxicated man from a road median.

2:49 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call at the intersection of Cinnamon Ridge Trail and Slater Road. The caller told police that they had received information that two school-age children were going to be jumped once they left the bus. The caller told police the planned attack was orchestrated by a suspect police arrested the previous day. The suspect thinks the family ratted him out to officers following his arrest, and wanted to get revenge, the caller said.

6:03 p.m.—Police responded to an assault call on the 1100 block of Duckwood Trl. The reporting party told police her neighbor was assaulted, and that the suspects were now leaving the area. Police learned that the victim, a female, was grabbed around the throat by another 29-year-old woman. Police transported the suspect to the hospital after she blew a .34 on a breathalyzer.

6:32 p.m.—Police responded to a theft call on the 500 block of Severn Way. The reporting party told officers that another man came to the house and stole several thousand dollars worth of items. The suspect then pawned the items, the victim said.

Sept. 29

2:14 a.m.—Police responded to a mental health crisis call on the 1500 block of Aspen Dr. The caller told police his friend is suicidal and is trying to walk in front of cars. The friend held the suicidal man by his sweatshirt until police arrived.

11:10 p.m.—Police responded to a disturbing the peace call at the Green Mill on the 1900 block of Rahncliff Ct. The caller told police an intoxicated man harassed their bar employees before stumbling out into the parking lot. Police transported the man to detox after he blew a .185 on a breathalyzer.

Sept. 30

12:52 a.m.—Police responded to a check welfare call at the intersection of Wescott Trail and Yankee Doodle Road. The caller told police they found an unmoving man laying in the median of the road. After approaching the man, the reporting party discovered that the man was intoxicated.

7:39 p.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call on Yankee Doodle Ln. A five-year-old boy told police that his mother's boyfriend had touched him sexually in a shower.

Oct. 1

5:26 p.m.—Police responded to a civil assist call on the 4400 block of Clover Ln. The caller told police that his father was stealing money from his grandfather's bank account. Police found evidence that numerous unexplained withdrawals from the grandfather's account had been made over a one-month span.
