The Minnesota Sinfonia returns to Caponi Art Park on Sunday, June 23 at 7 p.m. for their annual Summer Pops Concert. Their performance is part of the park's Summer Performance Series, a family-friendly program that features a wide variety of music, theater and dance concerts presented free of charge on Sunday evenings in the Theater in the Woods outdoor amphitheater.

This year’s Summer Family Pops Concert by the Minnesota Sinfonia will feature Broadway and movie tunes, as well as marches, polkas and rags. The diverse concert program will include music from Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, Strauss’ waltzes, a tango and more. Characterized by their elegant strings, this fine-tuned professional chamber orchestra boasts some of the best musicians in the Twin Cities committed to providing free access to music.

The event is free, with a $5 per person suggested donation to help make the Summer Performance Series possible. The performance will be rescheduled for July 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the event of poor weather. Weather-related announcements will be made via the park’s website, Facebook, and Twitter page.
