Council Preview: Lockheed Martin Site Study Returning to the Council

Last year, Eagan officials commissioned a $15,000 study to help them identify a vision for the former Lockheed Martin site, now owned by developer CSM Corporation.

The Eagan City Council will convene at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday night at City Hall to hold a special meeting. Here's a preview of a selection of agenda items the council is expected to discuss. For a full agenda, click here.

  • Last spring, developer CSM Corporation on the former Lockheed Martin property in Eagan, but withdrew the plans later in the year. City officials and the company have not yet settled on a vision for the high-profile, 47-acre property. In December, the Eagan City Council commissioned a roughly $15,000 site study to help them identify a vision for the site, which is located along Pilot Knob Road in Eagan. On Tuesday, city officials are expected to discuss the site study at a work session.
