After deciding to adopt a child, Eagan residents Dan and Tracey Citron took to the Internet.

They created a blog to document their lives, careers, home and pets. The couple opened a Twitter account and Facebook page to help get the word out. And they even posted daily ads on Craigslist to let birth moms know they were ready to adopt.

It was the Craigslist campaign that finally paid off for the Citrons, according to an ABC News Nightline story featuring the couple and an article in Yahoo! Shine.

Tammy Nelson, a 24-year-old mother in Arizona, saw the Citrons' Craigslist post after searching "adoption" and "Phoenix, Arizona" online one night, according to Yahoo! Shine.

I wonder if this will start a new trend of people using sites like www.clalerts.org to find children for adoption on Craigslist. p.s. Thanks for sharing this!
