Lane Closures on Stretch of I-35E Begin Mid-June

Both sides of I-35E will be reduced to one lane from the I-35E and I-35W interchange to Cliff Road in Eagan.

The southbound Interstate 35E bridge may have reopened to traffic on Monday evening, but future lane closures are coming for Interstate 35E through Eagan, as road crews repair bridges.

Minnesota Department of Transportation officials shut down the Interstate 35E and Interstate 35W on May 3 to install a new deck on a bridge near the interchange.

But traffic officials plan to reduce both sides of the freeway from the interchange to Cliff Road in Eagan in mid-June for approximately 30 days. Crews will be repairing bridges and restoring pavement in the area.
