Mariachi, Mexican Folk Dancers to Perform at Caponi

Los Alegres Bailadores, a longstanding Twin Cities dance troupe, will take the stage during the first week of August.

Let the fiesta begin.

Caponi Art Park invites the public to one of its signature summer performances, a Mexican folk dance by Los Alegres Bailadores accompanied by the music of Mariachi Flor Y Canto. The performance will take place on Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m. 

Los Alegres Bailadores is a Twin Cities troupe specializing in traditional Mexican dance.

The performance is free, though a $5 donation is suggested. The show is part of the Summer Performance Series, a family-friendly program presenting music, theater and dance concerts each Sunday at Caponi Art Park’s amphitheater.

The event is free, with a $5 per person suggested donation to help make the Summer Performance Series possible. In the event of poor weather, the performance will be relocated to Easter Lutheran Church at 4545 Pilot Knob Road in Eagan. Weather-related announcements will be made via the park’s website, Facebook, and Twitter page.
