Notice: "Reverse 9-1-1" Test Tonight

Dakota County businesses and residents, including Eagan, will receive a phone call as part of a Public Safety Mass Notification System Test.

Eagan residents and businesses will, along with the rest of Dakota County, will receive a “reverse 9-1-1“ phone call this evening as part of a Public Safety Mass Notification System Test. The Dakota Communications Center will be conducting the test.

Residents and businesses with landlines will receive a recorded message notifying them of the test when they answer the phone. The Mass Notification System is designed to alert communities to emergency situations and time-sensitive safety information for their areas.

Residents can also register their cell phones or mobile devices at www.mn-dcc.org if they wish to receive alternative alerts such as text messages or don’t have a landline.
