PHOTOS: South of the River Home & Leisure Show Runs Through Sunday

More than 80 vendors are on hand at the Eagan Civic Arena to offer home improvement ideas and leisure services

Mary Rasmussen of Eagan went to the Home and Leisure Show to check out landscapers. Her two kids, however, were mostly focused on how many treats they could get their hands on.

"They're making out like bandits," Rasmussen said with a smile.

Vendors selling everything from fix-it-up projects to get-away-from-it-all dreams set up shop in the 12th Annual South of the River Home and Leisure Show Friday in the Eagan Civic Arena.

More than 80 vendors will be on hand for the free three-day event, which runs Friday through Sunday, showcasing a myriad of home and leisure products and services.

Show vendors included the expected such as designers and remodelers, landscapers, contractors, as well as window, painting, siding and flooring experts. But there were also some unexpected services on offer, including chiropractors, vacation specialists, health care and wellness workers. The City of Eagan's Parks & Recreation Department and the Eagan Convention & Visitors Bureau also had displays.
