Taking on a New Challenge

I wanted to inform everyone that I am now the new editor of the Rosemount Patch site. I hope to do all the great things I did with the Eagan site for the Rosemount site! It has been absolutely wonderful getting to know all the great people in Eagan, whether I met you at events or spoke with you on a pretty regular basis.

Working on the Eagan Patch site from the ground up has been a wonderful challenge, and I have grown some great relationships with folks in Eagan.

I truly have been busy in Eagan since day one. Before the Eagan site went live in November, I was busy introducing myself to principals at every school in Eagan, city officials, residents and rigorously putting together the comprehensive business directory for the site (accompanied by hardworking contributors). By the way, if you don't see your business in the directory, send an email to the editor of the site or Senior Ad Manager Tony Raiber (tony.raiber@patch.com) and they will work to get you a free listing.

Once the directory was complete, it was time to get stories together for the big launch mid-Novemeber. I am proud of the site, and hope that it has served as an interesting, informative and helpful way for you to get news/sports and share news/sports with others. The site has been very successful since day one and I expect it to become more and more popular every day.
