Eagan Police Explorers Spaghetti Dinner

The Eagan Police
Explorers, with help from the Rosemount VFW, are holding a Spaghetti Dinner to help raise money for competitions.  The Eagan Police Explorers
provide many hours of community service work through Park Patrol and
assisting the police department at community events such as the National Night Out, 4th of July Celebration, arts and crafts festivals and the Dakota County
Fair among many others.

The Explorers have an opportunity to compete yearly at a regional competition in
Duluth and statewide in Rochester. In addition to those two yearly competitions, every-other year they have a chance to compete at a national level. While at competitions the explorers compete against others in practical exercises for a chance to win scholarship money.

All the funds raised from the dinner go towards either helping an individual explorer offset their cost of attendance for the competitions or to the posts general fund which is used to help fund new equipment and uniforms for the post along with donations in the post's name.

The costs are as follows:
  • $10 per adult
  • $5 for children aged 5 to 14
  • Free for anyone under the age of 5
